I have the same problem, "There are no adapters detected", but on Windows 8 I don't have Microsoft miniport drivers I can update/turn off. Im using an XPS15 notebook with second generation i7 with a Samsung UE40 ES6100 TV (DLNA works fine with my smartphone and with Samsung AllShare). The TV does see Intel WiDi as a source with no content, but the notebook can't find the TV. According to Intel Wireless Display Update, all my driver versions are current.

Intel® HD Graphics 3000

9.17.10.3223

Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030

15.8.0.0

Intel® Wireless Display Software

4.2.19.0

What should I do?
